New Voices on Women in the History of Philosophy, founded by Clara Carus, is a group for emerging scholars (in the widest sense) at the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists. New Voices has the purpose of creating a forum for emerging international scholars who work on women in the history of philosophy. New Voices intends to interconnect and further the work of scholars in the field of Women Philosophers in the History of Philosophy.
On our project website, you will find the search tool ‘Find Scholars,’ which you can use to connect with scholars who work on specific women philosophers. The tool is intended for further cooperation and networking among scholars who work on women in the history of philosophy or are interested in this research. The tool lists the different Women Philosophers and Scientists. By clicking on the corresponding picture you will get to the different scholars working on this philosopher. You can also find out more about the different scholars in our section Members.
New Voices runs an online Talk Series dedicated to different themes in the field of women philosophers. The current series, beginning in May 2022, is focused on Émilie Du Châtelet.
In our News section you can find up-to-date information on the work of New Voices Members, such as publications, talks, events or networking projects.
New Voices runs regular round tables and we hold casual meetings and events in Paderborn.
New Voices is currently organized by Clara Carus, Jil Muller, and Aaron Wells at the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists (directed by Prof. Dr. Ruth E. Hagengruber), Paderborn University.
