Teresa Rodriguez was part of the award ceremony for the Elisabeth of Bohemia Prize 2023. She is gave  a laudatio for this years winner of the Elisabeth of Bohemia Prize 2023  Laura Aurora Benítez Grobet. The Elisabeth of Bohemia Prize donated by Ulrike Detmers, is awarded to an outstanding contemporary philosopher in honor of the philosopher Elisabeth of Bohemia (1618-1680). Teresa Rodríguez is a researcher at the Institute for Philosophical Research at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She received her Ph.D. from UNAM in 2012 and her dissertation was co-supervised by Laura Benítez-Grobet.

Laureana Wright published a magazine called Violets of Anahuac, which promoted the feminine ideal of a cultured, educated wife and mother. The publication encouraged female education and urged women to question their role in society and living conditions. Laureana and her all-female editorial team covered topics such as education, women’s suffrage, and legal equality between genders. The journal also featured biographies of Mexican women, including Sister Juana Inés de la Cruz.
