I am a research assistant at the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists at Paderborn University.
My research focusses on Gender Philosophy, Feminist Philosophy and Philosophy of Technology.
I am currently working on my dissertation in which I want to explore a new direction for humanity in terms of technology as an associative factor. My researches focusses on the theories of Donna Haraway, Karen Barad and others.
The goal of my dissertation is to show that gender should be replaced as the previous primary structural category in society due to technological progress and societal discourse change. In addition to topics on reproductive medicine in the context of human reproduction, which has so far been heteronormatively situated, I examine an alternative possibility of interpretation with technology as an associating factor. In this context, the harmful effects of humans, who are destroying their own habitat and diversity through their destructive actions in the Anthropocene with regard to social upheavals (gender discrimination) and habitus-damaging actions, will also come into focus. Therefore, Donna Haraway’s theories around cyborgfeminism, cyborglife and Anthropocence/Chthulucence are core components of my research.
