My research in contemporary philosophy focuses on the relation between knowledge and belief and whether either of them enjoys “priority” over the other as well as on the meaning of knowledge and belief talk. On the historical side, I am interested in various issues in epistemology and the philosophy of mind discussed in early 20th century British philosophy (esp. in John Cook Wilson) as well as the early modern period (esp. in Mary Astell and Margaret Cavendish).
