Natalia Strok New Voices Research Profile

The principal aim of my research is to study manifestations of Platonism in Early Modern Philosophy. I focus on the Cambridge Platonist Group of seventeenth-century, particularly in Ralph Cudwortth and Anne Conway. I am interested in their platonic sources, the uses of those in their philosophy, their metaphyscis in relation to their conceptions of human being and liberty, the differentiation between diferent kinds of beings in the natural world and the consecuences of that in the moral and theological dimensions. I am also interested in women philosophers such as Juana Inés de la Cruz and Damaris Cudworth Masham, and eager to know more about others forgotten women philosophers in order to bilt a more genuine history of philosophy.
