The dissertation I am working on is focused on the body in Romantic literature and here I look at six authors, including three women. These three are Mary Wollsteoncraft, Karoline von Günderrode, and Mathilde Fibiger who I read in the contexts of ecology, gender, and affects respectively. Besides that I am interested in women’s history of philosophy in general and have published articles on Mary Astell’s critique of gender inequality, Mary Wollsteoncraft and Germaine de Staël’s religious republicanism, and on Mary Wollstonecraft and gender.
