Prof. Dr. Jeffrey McDonough is Professor for Philosophy at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA). He is Director of the Harvard History Philosophy Workshop. His research focuses on the intersection of philosophy, science, and religion in Early Modern Europe, especially 17th Century. He is an expert on both Berkeley and Leibniz. He is now Fellow at the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists from August 2022 to July 2023. During his stay, he is organizing and holding our ‘Émilie Du Châtelet in Relation to Leibniz and Wolff’ conference together with Clara Carus. They will then edit a peer-reviewed volume on the conference theme.
