International Exchange at the Center HWPS: Erasmus Partnerships and Visiting Fellows

The Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists (HWPS) at Paderborn University has built a strong international network over the years. Within the Erasmus framework, the Center maintains active academic exchange partnerships across Europe, supporting both student mobility and staff exchange.

Current Erasmus partner institutions include:

  • Masaryk University, Czech Republic (Dr. Dagmar Pichová)

  • Charles University, Prague (Dr. Hans Rainer Sepp)

  • Maynooth University, Ireland (Dr. Mette Lebech)

Beyond Erasmus, the Center also collaborates with institutions worldwide. Memoranda of Understanding and partnership inquiries have been initiated with universities in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Mauritania, among others.

Another central aspect of the Center’s international work is its Visiting Fellows Program. From 2014 to 2024, numerous scholars from around the world have conducted research at the Center, including:
