President of the DGphil at this year's iaph symposium 2025

This is one of the central questions that Prof. Dr. Ruth E. Hagengruber, President of the German Society for Philosophy (DGPhil) and General Secretary of the International Association of Women Philosophers (IAPh), will help explore at this year’s XXI IAPh Conference 2025. The conference will take place from August 1–5, 2025, at the Hongo Campus of the University of Tokyo, and is dedicated to the theme: “Women in Philosophy in East and West.” Together, participants will examine the diverse and powerful contributions of women to philosophy and science across cultures.
