Find Scholars – Emilie du Châtelet

New Voices has the purpose of creating a forum for international scholars who work on women in the history of philosophy. New Voices intends to interconnect and further the work of scholars in the field of Women Philosophers in the History of Philosophy. On our project website, you will find the search tool ‘Find Scholars’, which you can use to connect with scholars who work on specific women philosophers. The tool is intended for further cooperation and networking among scholars who work on women in the history of philosophy or are interested in this research.

The tool is organized by time periods and birth years. If you are looking for Emilie du Châtelet, you would scroll down to Early Modern Philosophy and then pass by Women Philosophers like Elizabeth of Bohemia and Margaret Cavendish, until you reach the year 1706, when Emilie du Châtelet was born. By clicking her picture you will find a list of scholars that do research on her. In addition you can click on the pictures of the scholars and find out more about their research.

If you want to try the tool by yourself, here is the link.
