Rediscovering Du Châtelet’s „Naturlehre“ – Ruth E. Hagengruber

Forthcoming De Gruyter Release – Don’t Miss It!

In September 2006, the Center for the Study of the Eighteenth Century in Potsdam hosted the first conference in Germany dedicated to the philosophical work of Émilie Du Châtelet. This event marked the beginning of a lively research initiative. Numerous inspirations and publications emerged from it. Today, we have at our disposal an extensive body of research literature that is no longer limited to the European reception. Given the enormous impact that Du Châtelet has had in Germany, it is high time to make the philosopher’s major work accessible in a form suitable for study and research. ~Ruth E. Hagengruber
