On December 8, 2025, the Working Group of the German Society for Philosophy (DGPhil) will hold its workshop “They Were Ahead of Their Time” at the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists.
The keynote lecture will be given by Prof. Dr. Andrea Reichenberger.
This workshop follows the successful AG DGPhil event in Münster (2024) and continues the discussion on women philosophers whose ideas transcended their time.
The DGPhil is the largest philosophical association in the German-speaking world. It represents philosophy in all its diversity—at universities, in schools, and in the public sphere—and promotes exchange, networking, and scholarly collaboration.

Am 8. Dezember 2025 findet am Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists der Workshop der Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Philosophie (DGPhil) mit dem Titel „Sie waren ihrer Zeit voraus“ statt.
Die Keynote hält Prof. Dr. Andrea Reichenberger.
Der Workshop knüpft an die erfolgreiche Veranstaltung der AG DGPhil im Jahr 2024 in Münster an und setzt die Diskussion über Philosophinnen fort, deren Ideen weit über ihre Zeit hinaus wirkten.
Die DGPhil ist der mitgliederstärkste Dachverband für Philosophie im deutschsprachigen Raum. Sie repräsentiert die Philosophie in ihrer Vielfalt – an Universitäten, Schulen und in der Öffentlichkeit – und fördert Austausch, Vernetzung und wissenschaftliche Zusammenarbeit.
