The Center for European Gender Studies invites to the networking Meeting Women’s and Gender Studies/Gender Studies NRW!

Members of the Network Women’s and Gender Studies NRW are cordially invited to the ninth “Networking Meeting Gender Studies NRW – Centers and Study Programs” on Friday, December 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University of Münster. The venue with directions will be sent after registration. The meeting will be co-hosted by the Center for European Gender Studies with the Coordination and Research Office of the FGF NRW network.

The agenda is proposed as follows:

11:00 a.m. Welcome – Prof. Dr. Gabriele Wilde, Dr. Beate Kortendiek

11:15 a.m. Presentation of the participants as well as the current tasks and questions of the represented institutions, centers and study programs

00:30 p.m. Lunch

01:30 p.m. The nexus of race*, class, ethnicity, nation and gender/gender studies. Input by Ana Rodrigues followed by discussion.

02:15 p.m.  Qualification paths in gender studies. Input by Dr. Inka Stock followed by discussion.

03:00 p.m. Miscellaneous – Action science day #4genderstudies on 18.12.2022 – Structural review Gender Studies

03:30 p.m. Outlook: Work focus, location and date of networking meeting in 2023.
