I work on American women philosophers who were writing during the first half of the twentieth century, especially those associated with the idealist and pragmatist traditions. Figures I am particularly interested in include Grace A. de Laguna, Marie C. Swabey, Ellen B. Talbot, Marjorie S. Harris, Hellen H. Parkhurst, Marjorie Glicksman Grene, Dorothy Walsh, Isabel S. Stearns, Grace N. Dolson and Thelma Lavine.
