She is particularly interested in the philosopher Edith Stein, who was murdered during the Second World War.

Born in Denmark, she spent her sabbatical year from September to December 2019 in the form of a research semester at the “Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists” (HWPS) under the direction of Prof. Dr. Ruth Hagengruber.

From 20-21 May 2021 the international conference Stein’s and Husserl’s intertwined Itineraries 1916-25 was held via zoom. The conference was cooperatively organized and hosted by Dr. Mette Lebech and the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists.
