If not, the Libori Summer School 2025 at the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists offers a unique opportunity to explore it in depth. Taking place from 8–12 September 2025, the program is dedicated to the early writings of Émilie Du Châtelet—philosopher, scientist, and one of the most remarkable figures of the Enlightenment.
Applications are open until 15 August and should include a one-page CV and a 1000-word analysis on one of the following topics: liberty, Mandeville, colours, grammar, or metaphysics. Participation is possible either in person (with ECTS credits) or in hybrid format.
The program offers insights into the first digital edition of Du Châtelet’s manuscripts and includes discussion sessions with renowned experts.
