by the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists

Our digital summer school contuniues! Last week we had a introductory session on Edith Stein. This week we want to get deep into the concepts of Edith Stein!

Our first video is Transcendental Intersubjectivity and Philosophical Anthropology by our research fellow Mette Lebech. Get to know Stein’s Psychic Causaltiy in detail. The talk is from the 2021 confrence Stein’s and Husserl’s Intertwined Itineraries . On the page you can find more information and more talks from the conference.

Next up we want you do get a better understanding how Edith Stein defined “Bildung”. In order to do so watch Valentina Gaudianos talk on Edith Stein´s Concept of “Bildung” from the second New Voices Talk Series.

Lastly to round up our two part series on Edith Stein, watch the Conversations with Diotima with Prof. Dr. Ruth Hagengruber, Director of the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientist and Anotnio Calcagno. You can now see how much more you understand and reflect your own thoughts and ideas on the named concepts!

We hope you look forward to the next women philosopher of this series!
