Today, we want to celebrate the  remarkable contribution of Ruth E. Hagengruber Director to the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists. It is an opportunity to honor her impressive career and dedication to the study of female thinkers and to highlight the impact and significance of her work in philosophy.

Since taking the helm of the center, she has transformed it into a true melting pot of knowledge. She has made it a place where the voices and ideas of women philosophers from centuries past are heard and celebrated. Through her tireless research and passion for recognizing women philosophers, she has ushered in a new era of thought and emphasized the importance of the female perspective in philosophy.

Under her leadership, we have accomplished numerous groundbreaking publications and research projects that have helped us  understand the history of female philosophers better. She has fearlessly challenged existing biases and stereotypes, paving the way for a more just and inclusive philosophical landscape. Through her work, she has built bridges between the past and the present, showing us the importance of listening to the diverse voices of female philosophers.

Her efforts have contributed to sharpening awareness of women philosophers and have paved the way for a fairer representation of female intellectuals in history.
