The title of my phd thesis is „Perchè ‚filosofe‘? Le donne filosofe dell’antichità, questioni di identificazione e classificazione sulla base della raccolta inedita Mulierum Graecarum quae oratione prosa usae sunt fragmenta et elogia graece et latine di Johann Christian Wolf“. It aims at identifying and classifying women of ancient philosophy through a rediscovery and a new analysis of ancient sources. It also focuses on the contribution that Johann Christian Wolf gave to the history of intellectual women, namely women philosophers of antiquity and late antiquity. My research is supervised by Professors Maddalena Bonelli (university of Bergamo) and Paul Schubert (university of Geneva).
