Émilie Du Châtelet on the role and nature of principles (mostly but not only in the manuscripts of her “Fable of the Bees”), theory of freedom, theory of translation and action. Katarina Peixoto works mainly in Early Modern Philosophy (and Early Modern Philosophy of Logic). She is one of the organizers of the International Conference Women in The History of Philosophy, which was held at UERJ, 17-20th June 2019. Her work on the History of Philosophy of Logic in the Early Modern Period and on methodological issues implies the recovery of forgotten authors in the philosophical canon – Women Philosophers and Women in the History of Philosophy.
