SUMMARY:Celebrating Émilie du Châtelet's Birthday
DESCRIPTION:Émilie du Châtelet’s Birthday Party \nThe Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists and its Director\, Ruth E. Hagengruber\, is inviting Project Vox to celebrate Émilie du Châtelet’s 314th Birthday – Come and join us! \nAndrew Janiak is joining us online from Duke University and will present his new work exploring the philosophical originality of Du Châtelet’s “Institutions”. Andrew Janiak is Professor of Philosophy at Duke University. He is the co-leader of Project Vox – a project aimed at highlighting the work of Early Modern Women Philosophers.
