Ruth Hagengruber is the founder and director of the Center “History of Women Philosophers and Scientists”. She is also professor and the Head of Philosophy at Paderborn University.

Jil Muller is a post-doctoral research fellow, assistant professor and deputy head of the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists. She worked on the digital, historical-critical edition of the Paris manuscript of Du Châtelet’s Institutions de physique.

Felix Grewe is research fellow at the Center HWPS and Paderborn University. He assists the director and deputy head at the Center for the “History of Women Philosophers and Scientists”. He is working in the project EcoTechGender. His research focusses on philosophy of technology, gender, diversity and feminist philosophy. His dissertation project is about Donna J. Haraway.

Daniel Neumann is a post-doctoral research fellow. His interest is in the early followers of phenomenology and their take on eidetic analysis (Wesensanalyse or Wesenswissenschaft) as a method to get back to the things themselves.

As a research fellow at Paderborn University, Hanns-Peter Neumann is leading the team responsible for the historical-critical edition of the Paris manuscripts of Émilie Du Châtelet. Neumann, who will be largely responsible for the editorial work, is focusing on the revision stages of the Institutions de physique as they are revealed in the manuscripts and on the interferences between Leibniz-Wolffianism and Émilie Du Châtelet's conception of her Institutions de physique.

Aaron Wells is a post-doctoral research fellow. He is working on the digital critical edition of the Paris manuscript of Du Châtelet's Institutions de Physique.

Pedro Pricladnitzky is a post-doctoral research fellow. He is working on the digital critical edition of the Paris manuscript of Du Châtelet's Institutions de Physique. Before his engagement at the center he was a professor for philosophy at the State University of Maringá (UEM).

Ana Rodrigues is lecturer of the teaching area on diversity "In der Philosophie zu Hause" (At Home in Philosophy). Her teaching comprises philosophy of race, class and sex/gender, intercultural philosophy, philosophy as a way of life, Enlightenment philosophy and the history of women philosophers.

Dr. Clara Carus joined the Center in November 2020 and is working in particular on Émilie du Châtelet and the juncture between Early Modern and Modern Philosophy, which includes Descartes, Leibniz, Wolff and Kant. Currently she is research fellow in the DFG-Project:
The Relationship of the Theory of Hypotheses to the Principles of Knowledge in Émilie Du Châtelet.

Dr. Maria Robaszkiewicz is a researcher at the Chair for Practical Philosophy at Paderborn University.

I am a Brazilian researcher sponsored by PDSE program from CAPES institution, currently doing my PhD in Education in the State University of Ceará (UECE) with a focus on the Edith Stein school of thought. My research focuses on education and business fields, specifically improving teaching practices in universities according to the aforementioned school of thought. My research interests in business contemplate strategy, entrepreneurship, marketing and research methods. From September 2022 to June 2023, I will be a visiting researcher at the HWPS center. During this time, I will focus on projects concerning the philosophy of Edith Stein and phenomenology. During my stay, I will attend phenomenology seminars by Dr. Daniel Neumann and Dr. Henning Peucker.

Núria Sara Miras Boronat is Associate Professor in Moral and Political Philosophy at the University of Barcelona.
She has published several essays on play, feminism and pragmatism in Catalan, Spanish, English, German and Italian. Her current research project is a conceptual history of injustice, oppression and other forms of social exclusion from a pragmatist and feminist perspective.
Together with Michela Bella, she edited Women in Pragmatism: Past, Present, and Future, to be published in 2022 in the Springer Series on Women in the History of Philosophy and Sciences. She will be visiting the Center in October 2021, and January and February 2022

Mette Lebech is Assistant Professor at the Maynooth University, Dublin. She has been Visiting Professor at the Center since September 2019. She focuses her research on Edith Stein.

Valentina Gaudiano is a researcher and lecturer at the Sophia University Institute in Italy. She is working on Philosophical Anthropology and on women phenomenologists. From April to July 2021 she was a guest at the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists for her research on Edith Stein and other women phenomenologists. She contributed together with Ronny Miron and Mette Lebech to the workshop “Women Phenomenologists” at the IAPh Congress 2021.

Ronny Miron (Bar-Ilan University) is an advisor for the Women in Early Phenomenology research cluster, and is a specialist on the philosophy of Hedwig Conrad-Martius.

Natalia Lerussi is Assistant Professor for Modern Philosophy (Universidad de Buenos Aires) and researcher at the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET, Argentine). Her main area of competence is classical German philosophy, especially Kant´s philosophy of history and anthropology. More recently she has been working on the constitution of gender and race in XVIII century´s philosophy.

Bjoern Freter is an independent researcher, based in Knoxville, TN, USA. His main research focus is the area of desuperiorization of philosophy; he works on the overcoming of the superiorisms - such as racism, sexism or speciesism - within the (western) philosophical traditions.

Professor Edgar Marques is a professor of Philosophy at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. His research areas are the philosophy of linguistics, metaphysics and the works of Leibniz and Wittgenstein.

Niklas Olmes is responsible for IT-services at the Center and works on the conceptualization of all aspects of the Digital Humanities.

Roland Mikosch studied Pop music and Media at Paderborn University. He is a designer and film maker. He coordinates the multimedia projects for the Center.

Katharine Goodman is professor emerita at Brown University. She is an expert on Luise Gottsched and took over the Luise Gottsched-Project for the Center in late 2018.

Gerhard E. Ortner leads the project "Gender/Philosophy in the Media". He is professor for business administration at the Fern Universität in Hagen. One of his fields of specialization is corporate communication.

Karen Green is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on women's intellectual history, particularly their political writings, as well as philosophy of language and logic. She visited the Center in October 2018.

Michelle Boulous Walker is senior lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Queensland, Australia. Her research interests span the fields of European philosophy, aesthetics, ethics, and feminist philosophy. She offered a master class at the Center in May 2018.

Sarah Hutton is Honorary Visiting Professor at the University of York. She was Visiting Professor at Paderborn University in October 2014, offering a master class on Anne Conway. In January 2018 she was co-organizer of the Elisabeth of Bohemia - Life and Legacy conference at the Center and committee member of the first Elisabeth of Bohemia and Herford Prize.

Judith P. Zinsser is professor emerita at the Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. She was Visiting Professor at the Center in July 2016.

Maria von Welser is a renowned TV journalist, author of respected books on the media representation of women and their rights, and vice chairwomen of UNICEF Deutschland.

Violeta Milicevic is a student assistant at the Center for the “History of Women Philosophers and Scientists”.

Sophie Unger is a student assistant at the Center for the “History of Women Philosophers and Scientists”.

Shari Wölker was a student assistant at the Center for the “History of Women Philosophers and Scientists”.

Melina Kiziroglou was a student assistant at the Center for the “History of Women Philosophers and Scientists” from 2017 to 2020.

Julia Lerius was the research manager of the Center from May 2017 to July 2018. She is an experienced teacher of English and Philosophy, using her knowledge for the e-learning concept "Philosophy goes MOOCs”.

Plamen Markovski was a student assistant at the Center for the “History of Women Philosophers and Scientists” from 2016 to 2018.

Emily Jayne Meier was a student assistant, aiding the Center “History of Women Philosophers and Scientists” with English translations, from September 2016 to March 2018.

Julia Mühl-Sawatzki was research associate at the Center‘s Gerda Walther-Project. She took on the position as Research Coordinator in January 2019.
